Without a developed prayer life you will do without many things, miss many opportunities, and even take wrong paths. People who pray more have not received a special assignment from heaven to pray – it’s not an anointing to pray, it’s not part of the five-fold office, Ephesians 4:11, and it’s not a gift. They have simply given themselves to a life of prayer as should we all, Ephesians 6:18.
